Create a great profile.
Customers are looking for experienced professionals. Your profile is where you show them that you’re the one for the job. Make a connection with the customer by adding a photo of yourself. Demonstrate what you can do by including images and videos of your past work. Customers are more likely to hire professionals who provide a basic idea of price which is why we have a Price Rating scale and encourage you to mention pricing in your Profile.
Professionals with 1 review are 100% more likely to be hired than pros with no reviews. Having 5 or more reviews makes it 4 times more likely to be hired. Customers tell us reviews are a major factor in their decision of who to hire. Take the time to ask your customers to write reviews. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time. In fact, research has shown that reviews that are not 100% positive are more credible.
Don’t give up!!
Online statistics show that you may get a response from 2 or 3 out of 10 inquiries. This is why a template email will help you to quickly reply to each person. Use a intriguing subject line to get your email opened.
Write clear and professional messages once you get contacted or with your follow ups.
Address any issues the customer raised and respond to their specific needs. Set a competitive price and be clear what your price includes and what you can or cannot do. Address the customer by name, make sure not to make spelling or grammar mistakes, and sign your name at the end. We suggest you create a Template response email to make it easier to reply to each customer, fill in the name and update as needed to reply to the Customer.
